Beck Meets . . .

Have you ever met a unicorn? How about a Pegasus? Beck had a new adventure last night.

Beck was waiting for the deer to come out last night. Suddenly, she saw sparkles in the air! She smelled some perfumey stuff. There was mist, so she could barely see the thing. Gradually she realized there was something weird in the woods: a horse shape with a HORN!

In a few minutes she saw huge wings. She wondered what it was so she went to take a closer look. She crawled through the grass. She saw it was bright white, whiter than snow. It's horn and wings were glowing silver and gold. It seemed like it was a magical creature!

Beck sang a song for it. It was a beautiful song. The creature came closer and nudged Beck. She carefully reached up her arm and petted it. And then it flew away.

Beck went home to look up in her books what it was. She forgot all about looking for the deer.

I love fairies. They are FUN! Here's what Beck (Elizabeth) is doing today.

She has already done her school work. Today she was up in an oak tree watching a deer. It was a young one that was wanting food. It was bored with grass. So, Beck helped it find its mom. The mom showed the young deer where to find some good tasting bark!

Beck is taking a nap right now. Deer are awake really early so Beck had to get up early, too! Beck will be with the deer later on this evening, when they are out again.

a FAIRY CAT PRINCESS

What do YOU imagine a fairy cat princess would look like? Would it look mostly like a furry cat? Would it look beautiful? What color would it be?

My Uncle Rick and Aunt Val found a fairy cat princess last weekend! They were at the mall and they went into Claire's. They looked at all the pretty things and when they walked out a fairy cat princess followed them! Since they couldn't find where she came from, they took her home. They played pool with her and gave her a snack before bed. She ate a little bit of pretty colored starburst candies. And then they made her a cozy nest to go to bed.

As you see in the picture, she has purple fairy wings with pink sparkles. Her cat face is pink with pink sparkles and a little pink nose with long whiskers. She is wearing a diamond tiara (that's how you know she's a PRINCESS!) Her clothes seem to change depending on what she feels like wearing.

The Fairy Cat Princess followed Anna home the next day. Anna's mom and dad said Anna could keep her as long as the Fairy Cat Princess doesn't mrowl at the moon and keep Anna awake all night.

The Fairy Cat Princess has a bunch of favorites. Her favorite color is PINK. Her favorite food is candy...ANY candy. Her favorite thing to do is to go horse-fly riding and to dance with butter-flies.

If you ever see a Fairy Cat Princess chasing butter-flies in YOUR garden, offer some starbursts. She will likely come close enough to take them from your hand.

Introducing CELIA

CELIA is a "Flower Fairy." She takes care of the flowers. She likes to live in gardens, but if she can't find a garden nearby, she will live somewhere in a field of wildflowers.

Celia's favorite colors are spring green and flower pink. Her favorite food is flower petal salad with honey dew drop drink. Her favorite thing to do is to play with the insects she finds in the gardens. She also likes to design new clothes made from flower petals.

CELIA is friends with all the fairies and likes to do special things with each one of them.

Introducing FIERA

FIERA is a "Fire Fairy." She controls fires. If you look closely, you can tell she is sassy with a fiery temper. When she is mad, she makes volcanos erupt. She loves to live in the exciting world of volcanos, but when she can't, she likes to live with lots of candles in her home.

Fiera's favorite color is red. Her favorite food is Hot Wings with Aztec chocolate (that's a chocolate drink with hot peppers in it!). Her favorite thing to do is dance in the air with fire birds (when she can find them).

FIERA's best friend is MARIBEL.

Introducing MARIBEL

MARIBEL is an "Air Fairy." She loves the air and high places. She likes to spend a lot of time flying and she lives as high as possible wherever she is.

Maribel's favorite color is periwinkle blue. Her favorite food is cloud puffs with raindrop cordial to drink. Her favorite things to do are chase mosquitoes and play tag with butterflies. She also loves to paint. She swoops down to paint the flowers (which are as big as trees for fairies) and she paints the rainbows after a storm.


MARIBEL's best friend is FIERA.

Introducing LILY-ANN

LILY-ANN is a "Dark Fairy." She likes to be in dark places and she usually sleeps in the day time. She is usually out and about during the night time.

Lily-Ann's favorite color is dark orange. Her favorite food is cheese from the dark side of the moon and dark hot chocolate. Her favorite thing to do is play with the bats. Sometimes she even flies on their backs!

As you might notice, Lily-Ann is missing one wing. She lost it in a fight against goblins who were trying to take over her cave.

Lily-Ann's best friend is Elizabeth.
